Lendal Tower, with flag

Flying the flag

Here's another tower near Lendal Bridge, clearly quite ancient and much patched-up over the years. Lendal Tower once served as the city's waterworks. More recently it underwent extensive refurbishment into a luxury dwelling. And the top of it appears to be a patio area, surrounded by some kind of modern-looking barrier (a bit jarring perhaps?), and topped with a flag. Mmm.
